Everything about the campsites for naturists in Indre

Two naturist campsites are located in the Indre, with contrasting profiles: a large family estate in the heart of nature in Luzeret, and a small friendly site in Poulaines, attached to a guest house.

La petite Brenne, in the heart of the regional nature park

In Luzeret, La petite Brenne occupies 42 hectares of forests and meadows at the site known as la Grande Métairie, right in the heart of the Brenne Regional Nature Park. The choice of pitch remains free on arrival: quietly in the heart of nature, on the edge of the woods, or near the campsite's friendly courtyard. The site, rated 2 stars, is crossed by a stream and has a body of water of around one hectare, typical of the Brenne's 'thousand ponds', where carp fishing is possible. The campsite never exceeds 150 pitches, even at peak season, and remains accessible to people with reduced mobility. Two swimming pools, a paddling pool and a wood-fired sauna round out the offering, with a restaurant set in a two-hundred-year-old barn that also offers a children's menu. The estate's horses and donkeys roam freely almost every day, with free horse-and-carriage rides for young and old. La petite Brenne carries the Dutch 'Prettig Bloot' label, which commits the establishment to safety, respect and family-friendly hospitality; the campsite is open from 20 May to 20 September.

Le RĂȘve de Poulaines, a small campsite and guest house

In Poulaines, easily accessible from exit 10 of the A20 motorway, Le RĂȘve de Poulaines combines a family campsite of half a hectare, planted with fruit trees, and a guest house open all year round. Taken over in October 2025 by Inge and Robyn, the establishment focuses on a small-scale welcome: naturism is practised flexibly there, with no obligation to be permanently nude, which also suits beginners. The spacious pitches, fitted with a power socket, welcome tents, caravans and motorhomes; the campsite is open from 14 May to 30 September, with a play area for children, between swings, a trampoline and a reading corner.

Choosing a naturist campsite in the Indre

For a stay in the heart of nature, with animals and plenty of space, La petite Brenne, in the Brenne Regional Nature Park, offers the widest setting. For a shorter stop or a stay in a guest house, Le RĂȘve de Poulaines, well placed on the Vierzon-Toulouse route and geared towards the Loire Valley, suits a touring stay. Both sites welcome families with children, between outdoor games in Poulaines and carriage rides in Luzeret; it's worth checking opening dates before booking, as the season remains limited to spring and summer.

to discover

What to see and do in Indre

The Brenne Regional Nature Park, where La petite Brenne is located in Luzeret, is nicknamed the land of the 'thousand ponds': moorland, marshes and stretches of water shelter protected wildlife and flora, with naturist walks accompanied, if needed, by a French-speaking guide to observe birds all year round. The area around Luzeret, in the heart of the Boischaut countryside, is ideal for quiet hiking, away from major roads.

In Poulaines, quick access to the A20 motorway allows for outings to the castles and estates of the Loire Valley, local markets and several regional museums, as well as to Beauval Zoo, one of the major attractions nearby. The area also opens onto the Berry region to the north and Touraine to the south, for day trips from either campsite, which lie close to each other despite their different profiles.

our method

How we select the campsites in this localisation

1

A verified criterion, not a promise

Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.

2

Reputation, backed by reviews

We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.

You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
