18 listed naturist campsites in France are by the sea, most with direct access to an official naturist beach. The naturist coast is concentrated mainly in Corsica, Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with sites ranging from small family campsites to large naturist villages, for a naturist holiday by the water.
Seven Corsican naturist campsites are by the sea. In Haute-Corse, in Linguizzetta, Domaine Naturiste Riva Bella has a 500 m² thalassotherapy centre, unique on Corsica, and Camping Calella offers premium bungalows with a restaurant overlooking the sea. In Bravone, Bagheera Resort covers 100 hectares with 5 km of naturist beach, an adventure course and a wellness area facing the sea. Corsica Natura, with free wifi across the whole site, and Les Eucalyptus round out the offer in Linguizzetta, and Club Corsicana, in San-Nicolao, offers a sailing school on a 4 km beach. In Corse-du-Sud, Village La Chiappa, in Porto-Vecchio, faces the Cerbicales islands.
At Cap d'Agde, in Hérault, Centre Naturiste René Oltra has been a pioneer of French naturism since 1956, 100 m from the beach, with a mini-club and a teen club for ages 5 to 17. Le Sérignan Plage Nature, also in Hérault, sits on a Blue Flag beach. In Aude, in Leucate, Résidence Éden Naturisme and Ulysse Naturiste Leucate, with an on-site pool and entertainment in season, are part of the naturist village of Port-Leucate, and Le Clapotis, in La Palme, has 247 pitches and a private beach on the lagoon, known for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
In Gironde, Euronat, CHM Monta and La Jenny all sit directly on the Atlantic Ocean. In Landes, Arnaoutchot offers 3 direct beach accesses, and in Charente-Maritime, Le Petit Dauphin is 5 km from a naturist beach.
In Morbihan, Camping Naturiste CNBS La Pinède, a club site since 1971, has 100 pitches and is 6 km from the naturist beach of Kerminihy.
Check whether access to the naturist beach is direct from the campsite or requires a few kilometres by road, as at Le Petit Dauphin or CNBS La Pinède. The large naturist villages on the coast, such as Euronat or Riva Bella, often combine beach, pool and entertainment in a busier setting, while the smaller sites focus on immediate proximity to the water. The Google reviews of these campsites generally reach 4/5 or more where available.
Most of the coast's official naturist beaches are directly accessible from the campsites in this selection, but check the exact distance before booking: some state it in kilometres, such as Le Petit Dauphin (5 km) or CNBS La Pinède (6 km), while others, such as Euronat or Riva Bella, offer direct access without crossing a road.
In Corsica and Occitanie, several campsites offer water sports on site: a sailing school at Club Corsicana, windsurfing and kitesurfing at Le Clapotis, diving at Village La Chiappa. On the Atlantic coast, La Jenny stands out for its naturist golf course by the ocean. Check the opening season before you leave, as most of these campsites operate from spring to autumn, with heavier crowds in July-August on the Corsican and Languedoc coasts.
Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
