Two naturist campsites share the Seine-Maritime: one in a loop of the Seine between Rouen and Le Havre, the other on the Alabaster Coast, between FĂ©camp and Ătretat.
In Anneville-Ambourville, La ChĂȘnaie is a 2-star naturist campsite set on 6 wooded hectares, in a loop of the Seine classed as a regional nature park. The site, run since 1975 by the Club des Naturistes Rouennais, offers bare pitches for two people as well as two caravans and four mobile homes for rent. An FFN licence, or its equivalent issued by a foreign federation, is required of anyone wishing to stay on the site; day visits remain limited to people invited by a camper already present, or accepted depending on available space. An archery range, mini-golf and petanque round out the offering. Reception is open seven days a week from 17 April to 27 September.
In the town of Yport, between FĂ©camp and Ătretat, the Club du Soleil de la Porte OcĂ©ane (CSPO), an association founded in 1965, occupies a wooded site known as 'Bois des 40 Acres', 1.5 km from the beach, with a 950-metre circular path laid out among the trees. Access works on three formulas: member, with a club card stamped by the FĂ©dĂ©ration française de naturisme giving access to other affiliated sites; holidaymaker, with the same card and billed per night; or pool only, to enjoy just the naturist slot in Le Havre. The campsite welcomes holidaymakers from mid-May to mid-September, with the club remaining open all year round for its members.
For a quiet stay by the Seine and close to Rouen, La ChĂȘnaie suits a more traditional welcome, with its rental accommodation. For direct access to the Alabaster Coast, between FĂ©camp and Ătretat, the Club du Soleil de la Porte OcĂ©ane, with its flexible formula, appeals to holidaymakers and naturist pool enthusiasts in Le Havre alike. Both sites require an FFN licence and close outside their season: it's worth checking dates before booking.
From La ChĂȘnaie, the limestone cliffs overlooking the Seine offer several viewpoints over the neighbouring villages of the Anneville loop, such as Yville-sur-Seine, Berville-sur-Seine, Bardouville, Mauny and Caumont, to explore on foot or by bike. Rouen, with its cathedral and historic centre, can be reached in around thirty minutes by car, while the Seine valley invites hiking along the river, between orchards, marshes and protected alluvial forests.
Around the Club du Soleil de la Porte OcĂ©ane, Yport, a former fishing village turned seaside resort, opens onto FĂ©camp and its harbour, between the cliffs of the Valmont valleuse, and then onto the world-famous cliffs of Ătretat, which can be walked at low tide all the way to the old seventeenth-century oyster beds. Hiking enthusiasts can follow the GR21, which runs along the Alabaster Coast between chalk cliffs and the Normandy countryside, all the way to the outskirts of Le Havre and the Seine valley.
Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
