Overview

Domaine de Bélézy is a naturist campsite at Bédoin, in the Vaucluse, between the Luberon and Mont Ventoux. The estate covers 25 hectares of pine forest around an 18th-century Provençal farmhouse, with views of Mont Ventoux from its gardens planted with century-old olive trees.

Naturism has been practised here in a family-friendly, respectful way for over 50 years, following a charter based on respect for oneself, others and the environment; some holidaymakers have been coming back to Bélézy since the estate’s earliest days. Around the farmhouse, the plane-tree esplanade and the garden, lit up in the evening, form the heart of the campsite, between the bar-restaurant and entertainment areas.

The estate has 320 pitches and rental units, split between shaded or sunny pitches (standard, espace, premium), canvas lodge tents and safari tents, and wooden chalets in several ranges, including one unit reserved for people with reduced mobility.

The campsite is rated 5 stars. Vehicle traffic is regulated from the entrance to preserve the tranquillity of the site.

The estate is open from 7 May to 27 September 2026. Reception welcomes holidaymakers from Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to noon and from 1.30pm to 5pm.

What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Naturism has been practised at Bélézy in a family-friendly, respectful way for over 50 years, following a charter based on respect for oneself, others and the environment, with no licence requirement mentioned for visitors.”

The menu at the gastronomic bar-restaurant showcases Provençal produce and seasonal vegetables, from beef tartare and reworked aioli to the Bélézy burger, snails in parsley butter, homemade smoked salmon and carpaccios. The snack bar rounds out the offer with pizzas, salads, cheeseburgers, tarts and quiches, and the bar serves cocktails, iced coffees and local wines on the terrace; a table is reserved for children. A grocery shop and a bakery-pastry shop complete the on-site amenities.

The naturist spa centre puts together bespoke treatment programmes, from fitness to bubbling baths, massages, hammam and relaxing water jets, osteopathy, hair removal, make-up and manicures. A hammam, either freely accessible or as a supervised package, rounds out the wellness offer, alongside a sauna and baby massages.

Three pools make up the water area: a large 750 m² pool with views of Mont Ventoux, open from 9am to 9pm from May to October; a small 120 m² pool, heated in low season, dedicated to water activities; and a 150 m² paddling pool built in 2022, castle-themed with three slides, for children aged 3 to 12.

Recent sanitary facilities, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, fridge, sun lounger and baby kit hire, wifi across the campsite and the library, CCTV at the entrances and a warden available 24/7 for any medical concern round out the practical services.

In season, a weekly programme of entertainment and workshops sets the pace of the days: theatre, music, sports tournaments, with some workshops led by holidaymakers who come to share their passion. Free, often guided, walking tours are organised around Bédoin and Mont Ventoux, as well as mountain biking outings, canoeing and winery visits for a fee. Children, grouped by age from 0 to 18, enjoy playgrounds and a mini-farm with playful, educational activities around animals and the vegetable garden.

On the doorstep of the Luberon and Mont Ventoux, the region invites you to hike, road cycle or climb the ‘Giant of Provence’, ride horses, climb or canoe on the Rhône. The villages of Provence, the lavender routes, the ochres of Roussillon and the Dentelles de Montmirail can be explored nearby, along with the flea markets of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and the vineyards of the Vaucluse.
