Corrèze is home to two naturist campsites with very different profiles: one on the banks of the Vézère, in the Bas-Limousin, the other towards the Lot, not far from a listed village and Rocamadour.
Camping Aimée Porcher covers 17 hectares crossed by the Vézère. Rated 2 stars, it offers 53 pitches as well as gîtes and safari tents. Guests can swim in a pond or directly in the river, and enjoy a sauna built by the owners themselves. The family-run, friendly campsite celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026.
Domaine du Coq Rouge, rated 4 stars, is a few kilometres from this village and from Rocamadour. Guests stay in 29 unusual accommodations and terraced cottages, with a heated pool and an area for younger children. A mini-farm and a vegetable garden keep young and old busy during the stay. Unlike the first site, this one does not offer bare pitches: the offer focuses on equipped accommodation.
For simplicity, in direct contact with the river, the first campsite suits campers arriving by tent or motorhome. For more comfort, with a heated pool and activities around the mini-farm, the second offers more services for families with young children. Both share the same family spirit, in an area neighbouring the Lot and the Dordogne, with which it shares the landscapes of the Périgord and the Quercy. The season generally runs from spring to autumn: it is best to check opening dates and availability directly with each campsite.
From Eyburie, the Vézère is well suited to hiking and whitewater sports along its entire course through Corrèze, between the Millevaches plateau, where it rises, and Larche, on the border with the Lot. Downstream, it crosses the prehistoric sites that made its reputation, as far as the decorated caves of the neighbouring Dordogne.
Further south, the village of Collonges-la-Rouge, one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, is worth a visit for its sandstone houses, its twenty-five towers and its Romanesque church with a carved tympanum, once a stop on the Way of Saint James. Waymarked trails reveal the surrounding countryside, between dry-stone walls and viewpoints. The area is also a good starting point for reaching Rocamadour and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, in the Lot and in the Dordogne.
Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
