In Pingrieux, in the commune of Eyburie, in the Corrèze (19140), the Aimée Porcher campsite covers a 17-hectare estate crossed by the river Vézère. The site has 53 large pitches with varying outlooks, from the most secluded to the liveliest, as well as three gîtes and four fully equipped safari tents for 2 to 5 people (fixed beds, kitchen with fridge, terrace). The campsite, run by a Dutch family, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026.
The Vézère crosses the estate and is suited to swimming, water games and fishing; a large natural pool, fed by a spring, rounds out the swimming options, at swimmers’ own risk since it is unsupervised. Around the site, the Corrèze countryside alternates woods, meadows and streams, some fifty kilometres north of the Dordogne.
Naturism here is practised as a family, with particular attention paid to children: a play hut for under-10s and age-appropriate activities set the pace of the season. The pitches closest to the river (numbered 45 to 55) are reserved for tents and are not suited to caravans, folding caravans or motorhomes; most of the other pitches have a 6 to 10 amp electrical hook-up. In 2026 the campsite opens on Saturday 30 May and closes on Sunday 30 August, with reception open from 8:30am to 10:30pm.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “A family-run naturist campsite with a strong family focus: games and activities for children set the pace throughout the season. The official website makes no mention of any requirement for a licence or membership to stay.”
The campsite has two well-kept sanitary blocks, a laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer, and facilities for people with reduced mobility. Wifi is free around the terrace. A bar with a wood-burning stove and a cosy indoor space complement an outdoor terrace popular for meeting other guests.
For catering, fresh bread can be ordered every day and a cheesemonger calls once a week. The campsite offers a shared meal and a homemade pizza evening once a week each, two chip evenings by order, and two coffee evenings with homemade cakes. A shared barbecue spot and a campfire corner are available to everyone.
In 2018-2019 the campsite added a sauna for ten people, built by the owners themselves, with a view over the hills of the Massif Central and an outdoor shower. Three times a week, for 6 euros per person, guests can book a half-day slot with sun loungers and a drink (juice or mint tea); access is free in June. Weekly yoga classes (vinyasa, yin…) are offered throughout the season, with a themed week from 11 to 18 July 2026.
The 2026 rates distinguish between June, in the low season, and July-August: a pitch for a tent or caravan costs 12 euros a night in June against 20 euros in high season, a person aged 10 and over 7.50 against 10 euros, a child under 10 5.25 against 7 euros, electricity 6 euros and a dog on a lead 4 euros, excluding tourist tax. In June, a combined offer at 23.50 euros a night bundles the pitch, two people, a tent or caravan and a dog.
Table tennis, a volleyball court and two pétanque pitches round out the campsite, alongside swimming in the Vézère and in the large natural pool. The campsite also organises canoeing and kayaking, a pétanque tournament, volleyball (beach or classic), an open-mic stage, guided walks to a beekeeper or a blueberry grower, and sometimes horse riding or a concert.
For children, a play hut is reserved for under-10s, with age-appropriate activities: campfires with marshmallows, crafts, outdoor games, night games, making lanterns followed by a procession, bread-making, and water games or a soap slide in hot weather.
Several marked walking trails set off from the campsite, ranging from 5 to 16 kilometres, around Eyburie, Condat or the hamlet of Le Cheyron, with GPX tracks available at reception. Cycling routes of 21 to 63 kilometres lead notably to Uzerche or Treignac. The neighbouring villages of Turenne and Collonges-la-Rouge, two of the most beautiful villages in France, can be visited in half a day. The campsite also lets everyone choose their own holiday pace, between active days and lazing on their own pitch.
Open from late May to late August (2026 dates: from 30 May to 30 August).
