La Pinède is a 2-star naturist campsite on the boundary between the villages of Belz and Erdeven, in Morbihan, between Vannes, Lorient and Quiberon. The site, opened in 1971, is run by the Club Naturiste de Bretagne Sud (CNBS), an association that relies heavily on volunteer members for the management, upkeep and layout of the grounds.
The campsite has 100 pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, spread across a wooded setting. The naturist beach at Kerminihy, in the town of Erdeven, is 6 km away, reachable by car or by bike along cycle paths; an area there is tolerated for naturism.
The association has been affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme since its founding and formalised its charter in 2012, built around respect for oneself, for others and for the environment. Naturism is practised here in a family-friendly, sociable spirit, with nudity the norm whenever the weather allows. Sanitary facilities adapted for reduced mobility, with a washbasin, shower and toilet, complement the main sanitary block.
The site is open from 1 May to 13 September 2026, with reception open in the morning and afternoon, closed between midday and 2pm.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Association-run campsite, affiliated with the FFN since its founding in 1971, governed by a charter adopted in 2012: respect for oneself, for others and for the environment, with nudity practised whenever the weather allows. FFN or FNI licence sold at reception for the season.”
Reception sells bread and pastries in July and August, ordered the day before, along with cold drinks and ice cream. A free service lets you store ice blocks in the freezer, and laundry tokens are available for the washing machine. Wi-Fi is free across the whole site.
Pizzas are sold on site every Thursday from 6pm to 9.30pm, and galettes and crêpes every Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm. On Saturdays, in high season, a shared meal is followed by a themed evening, and the week around 15 August traditionally features a fancy-dress weekend, open to any camper who wants to join in.
The communal lodge, the heart of campsite life, has a large-screen television, table football, board games on request and books for free use. Nearby, in Belz and Erdeven, a Super U and an Intermarché round out the offer, with markets that bring a different village in the area to life almost every day: Erdeven, Auray, Locmariaquer, Quiberon or Belz, depending on the day of the week.
The site offers an archery range, supervised on Saturday mornings and open every day to those bringing their own equipment, as well as a table-tennis table and a pétanque pitch that comes alive daily at 4.30pm, with an evening session on Mondays and a tournament followed by a friendly drink every Thursday. Children have safe play equipment and a trampoline.
In July and August, a two-hour bike ride open to all levels sets off from reception every Sunday morning to explore a new route past chapels, fountains and megaliths of the area. During the week, a walking hike is organised with a club member, on the surrounding paths and as far as the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan.
The region also invites exploration of Belle-Île, Auray with its Saint-Goustan harbour, or Vannes with its medieval centre. Bike rental shops are based in Erdeven to extend the outings, and the Morbihan events calendar lists the summer’s festivals and celebrations across the whole area.
Open from 1 May to 13 September 2026.
