Domaine de l’Escride is a naturist campsite rated 3-star Tourisme, located at 5 chemin de l’Escride in Belgentier, in the Var, right in the Var pine forest and around 20 kilometres from Toulon, on the road to the Canal de Provence. Its managers claim the status of the naturist centre closest to the coast along the whole stretch between Marseille and Menton, with several naturist beaches nearby. The nearest shops are 1 kilometre away.
The site offers 54 naturist pitches along with four types of rental accommodation: three studios with shower, toilet and kitchenette, two one-bedroom chalets with shower room, toilet and dining area for four people, and a two-bedroom mobile home (one double bed and two single beds), with equipped kitchen, shower room and separate toilet.
The campsite is open from 15 June to 30 September, with a pool accessible only in July and August. During these two high-season months, rentals run from Saturday to Saturday. The site is under video surveillance, and the campsite states it has no sanitary facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility, given the layout of the grounds.

The site’s pool, open in July and August, is complemented by a paddling pool reserved for the youngest visitors. On site, a catering service is offered on certain evenings, alternating with pizza nights; ice is also available to keep cool boxes cold. Only the campsite’s communal barbecue is allowed, individual barbecues are not permitted on the pitches.
A washing machine is available to campers. The rental accommodation is equipped for everyday living: the mobile home has a kitchen with hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge and crockery provided, while the chalets and studios offer a private shower room with shower and toilet and a dining table. Dogs, however, are not allowed in the chalets or studios.
The 54 naturist pitches can be connected to electricity for a supplement on top of the base rate for two people. For shopping and shops, it takes about 1 kilometre from the site, heading towards Belgentier.
Domaine de l’Escride provides a tennis court, a volleyball court, a petanque area, a table tennis table and table football, in addition to the pool and paddling pool open in July and August. Enough to fill the days on site, between two swims, without ever leaving the grounds. This range of activities suits couples as well as families with children looking for an active stay surrounded by nature.
The campsite also benefits from its location in the Var hinterland to reach the coast: Toulon is about twenty kilometres away, and Saint-Tropez, Marseille and the Iles d’Or (Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant) are within reach for a day trip. Families can also plan an outing to the theme parks in the area, such as OK Corral or Aqualand, both well known in the Var region.
The site also lists several naturist beaches nearby, a natural complement to the campsite pool for those who enjoy bathing surrounded by nature.
