The Les Eucalyptus naturist campsite occupies the Giustiniana estate, in the town of Linguizzetta, in Haute-Corse. This area lies on the island’s east coast, in the Marine de Bravone, which unfurls nearly twelve kilometres of coastline between sandy beaches and rocky coves. Aléria, the former Roman capital of Corsica, is about eighteen kilometres to the south, and Bastia around sixty kilometres to the north. The campsite sits in the Oriente micro-region, on this eastern side of the island sometimes known as the Costa Verde.
The estate spreads across a ten-hectare eucalyptus forest, a setting deliberately left in its natural state. It has two hundred and fifty pitches, around a hundred of them shaded in the traditional camping style, fitted with water, electricity and drainage connections. A five-kilometre naturist beach borders the estate, with free access from anywhere on the grounds.
The spirit of the place stays deliberately rustic: the campsite presents itself more as a preserved natural space than a heavily equipped facility, geared more towards contact with nature than leisure amenities. Naturism is practised across the whole estate as well as on the adjoining beach. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with activities laid on for children, and dogs are welcome.
The campsite is unclassified. It opens from mid-May to mid-October.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Naturism is practised across the whole estate as well as on the adjoining beach, with free access from the grounds.”
On site, a restaurant and a snack bar handle catering, with fresh bread delivered every morning. Wi-Fi is available on the estate, and a launderette with washing machines and dryers lets you do laundry during your stay. Shops and restaurants close to the estate round out the offer for longer stays. Reception speaks German alongside French, and payment is by cash or cheque.
The two hundred and fifty pitches have water, electricity and wastewater connections, on both the hundred or so shaded plots and the rest of the grounds. Access adapted for people with reduced mobility is available on the estate, with sanitary facilities spread across the grounds. On the rental side, bungalows round out the offer of bare pitches for holidaymakers not bringing their own tent, caravan or motorhome.
The campsite has neither a pool nor a covered water area: the five-kilometre naturist beach adjoining the estate serves as the swimming spot instead, with free access from anywhere on the grounds, in the waters off Corsica’s east coast.
The estate’s sports facilities include a tennis court and a pétanque pitch, along with fishing opportunities for enthusiasts. Activities are organised for children, in keeping with the family atmosphere the campsite claims.
The five-kilometre naturist beach bordering the estate is the main playground: swimming, lazing about and walks along the coast of the Marine de Bravone, which stretches nearly twelve kilometres between sandy beaches and rocky coves. The other beaches along this same coast, reachable on foot or by car, let you vary the spots over the course of your stay.
Open from mid-May to mid-October.
