Borvo is a naturist campsite in Bourbon-Lancy, in Saône-et-Loire, in Burgundy, about 300 kilometres south of Paris. The site, built around a former French farmhouse, is run by Sandra and Mark, who live there year-round and welcome campers themselves.
The campsite has 26 pitches of 120 m², all fitted with electricity, as well as two fully equipped safari tents for 2 and 4 people: kitchen with hot and cold water, fridge, oven, coffee maker and hammock, with shared sanitary facilities on site. A small stream runs alongside the estate and is home to trout, foxes, deer and several bird species, including the kingfisher and the golden oriole.
Borvo carries the Dutch Prettig Bloot label, based on safety, freedom, respect, openness and hospitality, established with the Dutch naked recreation organisation NFN Open & Bloot. NFN members receive a 10% discount on their stay.
The campsite is open from 1 April to 1 October 2026. Bourbon-Lancy, a spa town known since antiquity, offers a medieval town centre with cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, a 15th-century belfry and a casino, a few minutes from the site. The town lies in the Loire plain, at the foot of the first slopes of the Morvan, at the heart of the Charolais-Brionnais.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “The campsite carries the Dutch Prettig Bloot label (safety, freedom, respect, openness, hospitality), established with the NFN Open & Bloot organisation; NFN members receive a 10% discount.”
The bar and its terrace serve coffee, drinks and ice cream throughout the day; a reading table, a library and several board games are available, along with pétanque balls or a golf set to borrow. The campsite organises a communal meal on Mondays and Fridays, a pizza night on Wednesdays and a barbecue on Saturdays: everyone brings their own food, the campsite lights the barbecue and prepares chips, and drinks are ordered at the bar.
Bread can be ordered seven days a week at reception, before 5.30pm the day before, and awaits from 8am in the locker corresponding to the pitch number. There is no cash machine on site: payment is made in cash or by bank transfer. For chemical toilets, only the Aqua Kem Green product, sold on site, is permitted, as the site’s septic tank cannot tolerate conventional chemical products.
Wifi is free near the bar, and reception gives advice on cycling and walking routes in the area. Both the pitches and the safari tents all have electricity, a point that Sandra and Mark, present on site year-round, are happy to highlight to newcomers.
Alongside the site, the small stream is well suited to trout fishing and water games for children; it also attracts discreet wildlife such as foxes and deer, as well as a fine variety of birds like the kingfisher, the golden oriole and the bee-eater. On site, pétanque balls and a golf set can be borrowed at reception, and the communal meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday set the pace of the week in a friendly atmosphere.
