Between Autun and Luzy, in the Morvan Regional Nature Park, in Burgundy, the Domaine de la Gagère covers 5 hectares at the end of a lane, amid meadows and woods, with an open view over the valley that is regularly praised for its sunsets. The campsite is run by Tim and Floor.
Rated 4 stars, the site has 126 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as fully equipped accommodation: mobile homes, safari tents, a Mongolian yurt and two types of chalets. The campsite is open from 15 April to 1 October.
The Domaine de la Gagère is a partner of the Fédération française de naturisme, offering a discount on presentation of the FFN card, and holds the Dutch Prettig Bloot label, awarded for the site’s safety, freedom, respect, openness and hospitality. In 2026, the establishment took 2nd place at the BlootKompas Awards run by NFN Open & Bloot, in the campsite category.
The campsite is 10 km from Luzy railway station, where a pick-up can be arranged by appointment, 19 km from the Étang-sur-Arroux coach station, 50 km from Le Creusot TGV station and 100 km from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport. Autun, a Roman and medieval town, is 10 km away, and the Gallo-Roman site of Bibracte 25 km away.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Partner establishment of the Fédération française de naturisme (discount on presentation of the FFN card) and holder of the Prettig Bloot label from the Dutch federation NFN Open & Bloot, for the site's safety, freedom, respect, openness and hospitality; 2nd place at the 2026 BlootKompas Awards in the campsite category.”
The restaurant, with a large terrace, offers a menu that changes daily, complemented by a bar and a chip stand. An on-site convenience shop rounds out the offer; supermarkets, a doctor and a pharmacy are in Luzy, 10 km away.
Two heated pools, one of them indoor, along with a paddling pool for young children, are available on site. Wellness plays an important role: sauna, relaxation massages (€48 an hour) and reiki sessions (€48 a session) are offered in a dedicated chalet set behind reception, by practitioners who take turns depending on the time of season.
Four sanitary blocks, three of them fitted with rapid dishwashers (5 minutes), plus a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer, complete the facilities. The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility, wifi is free there, and an electric vehicle charging point is available. Electric scooters and bikes can be hired from a local partner based in Luzy, who can also collect arrivals from the station.
The seasonal programme offers a wine tasting every Tuesday, from late May to mid-September, hosted by an oenologist around seven French wines to taste (€15). Free guided walks, led by volunteers, are organised from early May to late June, and short or longer walking and mountain-biking routes are available at reception throughout the season.
Creative workshops (an introduction to Aboriginal art, zentangle, painting to music, among others) run from late June to late July, complemented by morning yoga classes, given in French, Dutch, English and German from late June to early September. A vocal release workshop and reiki sessions also punctuate the season.
In July and August, a daily programme run by volunteers keeps children entertained: creative and sporting activities, baking bread over a campfire or pedal-kart races. On site, pétanque, a volleyball court, table tennis and a playground round out the offer for all ages.
Open from 15 April to 1 October.
