In Réaup-Lisse, at 3224 route de Mézin in Lot-et-Garonne, Camping du Lac de Lislebonne occupies a 16-hectare site listed as Natura 2000, in the heart of the Albret region, not far from Nérac. Audrey and Thomas, owners of SARL Lislebonne Nature, welcome holidaymakers to this preserved natural setting, home to rare species of dragonflies and bats.
The campsite stays small in scale, with 69 pitches and a private swimmable lake of 2.5 hectares, featuring a fine sandy beach with a gentle slope, a jetty and inflatable games. An indoor pool, heated to 28°C from opening day, completes the swimming offer, with sun loungers available.
Undressing completely is required around the pools, at the lakeside and under the communal showers. Elsewhere on the grounds, the rule is simple: undress as soon as the weather allows, cover up only if needed. The campsite belongs to the Fédération des Espaces Naturistes (FEN).
The campsite is open from 13 May to 27 September. Reception and phone enquiries are handled daily from 8:30am to 7pm, and a bathroom facility adapted for people with reduced mobility is available on site.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Undressing completely is required in swimming areas (pool, lake, communal showers); elsewhere, guests dress according to weather or preference. The campsite is a member of the Fédération des Espaces Naturistes (FEN).”
The campsite’s restaurant-snack bar is open at lunch and dinner throughout the season, indoors or on the panoramic terrace overlooking the lake; lunch service is by reservation only. The bar, open from 9am to midnight, serves breakfast, ice cream, crepes and drinks, and fresh bread is available to order each morning.
The indoor pool is heated to 28°C from the campsite’s opening day, with sun loungers available; water-based activities are offered regularly. The private 2.5-hectare lake offers a fine sandy beach with a gentle slope, a jetty and inflatable games for children. As in the pool, swimming there requires being completely nude.
Free wifi covers the whole campsite, with a shared connection better suited to browsing than streaming. A laundrette (washer and dryer) and a heated bathroom block, including a facility adapted for people with reduced mobility, are available on site. The rentals are equipped with a filter coffee maker; with no television, they offer instead a library and board games shared by all guests.
The campsite offers a multi-sports field, table tennis, pétanque and beach volleyball, as well as board games to borrow. Fishing is practised catch-and-release in the private lake, where you can also catch crayfish before cooking them.
Children have access to a multi-purpose play area with spring rockers, a swing, a rotating game and a mini digger. They also enjoy the lake’s fine, gently sloping and secure sandy beach, for building sandcastles or jumping off the jetty.
The campsite sits in the heart of the historic Albret region, not far from Nérac, a town linked to the family of King Henri IV, with its castle-museum. Nearby attractions include canoeing on the Val d’Albret, tree-top adventure parks, a golf course 20 minutes away, karting in Caudecoste, the Walygator Sud-Ouest park and Aqualand in Agen (40 minutes), as well as several themed museums (bee, cork and stopper). The Lastournelle cave and the baths of Casteljaloux, less than an hour away, round out the family outings on offer.
Open from 13 May to 27 September.
