Le Clos Barrat is a 10-hectare naturist estate between meadow and forest, at Sérignac in the Lot, between Cahors and Agen. The campsite has existed since 1981 and has passed through several generations of owners; since May 2024, Emmanuelle and Nicolas have taken over, continuing this more than 40-year-old naturist history.
The estate has 65 spacious pitches (100 to 150 m², 120 m² on average), delineated by natural vegetation, as well as 4 modern mobile homes and 2 studios fitted out in a restored former sheepfold. The campsite is a car-free zone, with parking at the entrance, and three sanitary blocks are spread across the estate.
Le Clos Barrat cultivates a naturism without dogma, where you dress if you feel cold and enjoy the freedom of the body whenever the sun allows. The campsite is one of fourteen French campsites selected for the ‘Slow Naturisme’ charter, which promotes a calm way of life close to nature.
The campsite is open from 24 April to 10 October 2026. Several facilities, including part of the sanitary blocks, are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Naturism without dogma: you dress if you feel cold, and enjoy the freedom of the body whenever the weather allows. The campsite follows the 'Slow Naturisme' charter.”
Every morning from 8.30am, a local artisan baker delivers wood-fired bread: simply order the day before at reception. At the bar, the wines come from neighbouring producers, the craft beer from Fumel, and the organic fruit juices from Maison Meneau; the artisan ice cream is made by Benoît de la Lune in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. Charcuterie-and-cheese platters and mixed salads are available on request.
A sauna and massages are available on request. Two Qi Gong sessions and two yoga sessions a week invite relaxation, supported by breathing and meditation.
Wifi is free throughout the estate. An electric vehicle charging point is available, along with a stall selling local products. Bed linen and towels can be hired for the mobile homes, with an end-of-stay cleaning fee on request. A launderette is available on the campsite. A security service keeps watch over the estate at night.
The campsite welcomes passing cyclists and offers bike hire. Pitches have electrical hook-ups (6A or 10A depending on the zone).
The solar-heated 25 m pool stays open in the evening and early morning. Three pétanque courts host a tournament every weekend, and the footpaths of the Lot are directly accessible on foot or by bike from the campsite, for all levels.
The concert evenings often turn into open-mic sessions where anyone can join in with their own instrument, guitar, flute or percussion. Pub quiz evenings are a regular date over a drink at the bar, and creative workshops (mandala, flower art) are offered regularly. Campfire evenings bring campers together for singing and music, carried by the acoustics of the oak forest.
‘Night of the Stars’ invites you to lie in the grass to watch the Quercy sky and listen to the crickets. Qi Gong and yoga, offered several times a week, round out a programme entirely geared towards relaxing body and mind.
The estate is home to around twenty bird species observed year-round, from the hoopoe to the nuthatch, thanks to management that limits the use of pesticides and preserves hedgerows and old trees.
Open from 24 April to 10 October 2026.
