Tarn has two naturist campsites with very different atmospheres: the Centre Naturiste Le Fiscalou, in the green Quercy Tarnais, and La Couliche, a small rural club in Cestayrols, between Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel and Gaillac. Neither mentions a pool: these two addresses focus above all on the natural setting and life on site.
The Centre Naturiste Le Fiscalou, a family campsite rated 3 stars, rents chalets, a caravan pitch and a furnished tent bungalow, close to Puycelsi, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. On site, a producers’ market is held on Mondays, and a restaurant serves home-cooked meals and pizzas.
La Couliche, in Cestayrols, is a rural naturist club with just six pitches, approved by the French Naturist Federation since 1976. Awarded LPO Bird Sanctuary status in 2024, the establishment offers a free discovery day for the curious and a monthly meal among members, in a friendly, small-scale atmosphere.
For a family stay with on-site dining and a choice of permanent accommodation, chalets or a tent bungalow, the Fiscalou offers the most comfort. For a more intimate experience, in a preserved rural setting favourable to biodiversity, La Couliche suits small groups looking for friendliness and simplicity. Both establishments lie within the triangle formed by Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel and Gaillac, in the heart of the Tarn vineyards.
Puycelsi, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, preserves 800 metres of remarkably well-kept ramparts, in the golden triangle of the Gaillac vineyards, alongside Cordes-sur-Ciel. Cordes-sur-Ciel, another hilltop medieval town, is worth visiting for its sloping streets and Gothic houses, about twenty minutes from the Fiscalou. The bastide of Gaillac, the wine capital of the area, rounds out this exploration of the vineyards, between wine cellars and producers’ markets.
Cestayrols, a renovated stone village, is 9 km from Cordes-sur-Ciel and Gaillac. Albi, birthplace of Toulouse-Lautrec, with its Sainte-Cécile cathedral in pink brick, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, can be reached in about thirty minutes from both campsites, for a cultural stop along the Tarn valley.
Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
