Aude has three naturist campsites, all by the sea between La Palme and Port-Leucate: Le Clapotis, on the La Palme lagoon, and two establishments in the heart of the naturist village of Leucate, Résidence Éden Naturisme and Ulysse Naturiste Leucate Hôtellerie & Camping.
Le Clapotis, a 2-star naturist campsite with 247 pitches with electricity on 6 hectares, borders the La Palme lagoon, between Narbonne and Perpignan. A private beach and a well-known windsurfing and kitesurfing spot make its reputation; on site, the La Paillote restaurant and a grocery shop round out the offer, with five sports rigs and a multi-sports field for outdoor activities.
Résidence Éden Naturisme rents 162 villas and mini-villas with terrace, with direct access to the naturist beach and the Pénélope restaurant 200 metres away. Ulysse Naturiste Leucate Hôtellerie & Camping combines a residence and a campsite, 50 metres from a supervised beach, with 83 pitches and two mobile-home cabins; the establishment has a pool, a tennis court and a pétanque court, and its Club Ulysse Nature enlivens the season.
Leucate, the oldest of the Languedoc coastal resorts, hosts the Mondial du Vent every year, the world event for freestyle kitesurfing, and stretches along the Plage des Coussoules, eight kilometres of fine sand. The La Palme lagoon, a shallow lagoon designated Natura 2000, with no obstacles to the wind, is one of the most sought-after kitesurfing spots on the Aude coast: the naturist campsites of Aude all benefit from this setting between lagoon, beach and wind, ideal for water activities.
For watersports, between windsurfing and kitesurfing on a sheltered stretch of water, Le Clapotis, on the La Palme lagoon, remains the reference. For rental accommodation in a naturist village, with a restaurant nearby, Résidence Éden Naturisme suits stays in a villa. For direct access to a supervised beach with entertainment and sports activities on site, Ulysse Naturiste Leucate Hôtellerie & Camping offers the most services within the naturist village of Leucate.
The La Palme lagoon, a shallow lagoon designated Natura 2000, is suited to kitesurfing and windsurfing all year round, with schools based on site a few kilometres from Le Clapotis. The town of La Palme is worth visiting for its vineyards and producers’ markets, between Narbonne and Perpignan.
Leucate, the oldest of the Languedoc seaside resorts, has eight kilometres of fine sand on its Plage des Coussoules and hosts the Mondial du Vent every year, a major international watersports event. Port-Leucate, the neighbouring resort, rounds out the nautical offer with its marina. Narbonne, with its cathedral and covered market, can be reached in about thirty minutes, as can the Corbières and Fitou vineyards, in the Aude hinterland, ideal for cycling trips between lagoons and vineyards.
Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
