Tarn-et-Garonne has two family naturist campsites, both set in a wooded, hilly landscape: the Centre naturiste Le Mérou, on the Causse de Limogne near Saint-Projet, and Les Manoques, in the heart of an oak forest in Valeilles.
The Centre naturiste Le Mérou, rated 3 stars, covers 5 hectares on the Causse de Limogne, near Caylus. This family campsite with 22 pitches and three accommodation units has a pool, a sauna and a friendly sheepfold, as well as an area dedicated to children and teenagers; preferential rates apply outside high season. In Valeilles, Les Manoques, rated 4 stars, spans 14 hectares of oak forest. This family campsite with 66 pitches rents mobile homes and chalets and offers a free sauna and jacuzzi, at no extra cost; it operates from June to September, with a strong family spirit and a friendly atmosphere among holidaymakers.
For a peaceful stay on the Causse de Limogne, with sauna and sheepfold, the Centre naturiste Le Mérou suits families looking for an authentic rural setting and an area for children and teens. For a wooded stay, with a free sauna and jacuzzi and a wide choice of permanent accommodation, Les Manoques, in Valeilles, offer more comfort and shaded space. Both establishments lie in the east of the department, between the Causse de Caylus and the Séoune valley, a short distance from the villages of the Pays des Causses, away from mass tourism and major roads, for a peaceful naturist holiday and outdoor activities.
Caylus, a medieval village in the Pays des Causses, about 8 km from the Centre naturiste Le Mérou, preserves stone streets, an old covered market and an unspoilt character, far from mass tourism. Local markets are held in Beauregard, Parisot, Caylus and Limogne-en-Quercy, all less than 15 km away, to sample Quercy produce. The Causse de Limogne, a limestone plateau between Lot and Aveyron, can be explored on foot or by bike, amid dry-stone walls and small austere villages.
In Valeilles, the oak forest surrounding Les Manoques invites walks and observation of local wildlife. Tarn-et-Garonne, crossed by the Lot and Garonne rivers, also offers canoeing and hiking along the riverbanks, in a department still spared from mass tourism.
Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
