La Breur is a family naturist campsite located in Laizé, in the heart of southern Burgundy, run by the Club du Soleil Mâcon-Laizé. This 1901-law association, affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme, has been registered with the Mâcon prefecture since 13 December 1989. The site offers a small number of pitches, eighteen in total, along with several chalets and caravans for rent.
A family atmosphere and calm prevail here, in a green setting conducive to rest. The club encourages the practice of nudity while remaining attentive to people discovering naturism; voyeurs and swingers are not admitted. The establishment has been recommended by the Petit Futé guide.
The 2026 season runs from 30 May to 20 September. For a stay of more than seven days, it is best to write by email; below that, a phone call is enough. No booking is taken more than a year in advance.
Laizé is 15 km from Mâcon railway station and 22 km from Mâcon-Loché TGV station. Those who want to see the place before committing can also visit for the day.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “The club encourages the practice of nudity while remaining attentive to people discovering naturism. Voyeurs and swingers are not admitted on the site.”
The heart of the campsite is a communal building equipped with hobs, fridges, a freezer, a barbecue and a bread oven, available to guests. The sanitary facilities include open showers and two enclosed showers, as well as toilets adapted for people with reduced mobility. Wifi is free across the whole site.
The indoor pool, protected by a dome, is also accessible to people with reduced mobility. Table football and a table tennis table round out the leisure facilities, with a fenced play area reserved for the youngest.
The campsite can also be visited for the day, for a fee of 15 euros per person, with access to the same facilities: pool, tennis court, petanque pitch, children’s playground and kitchen area. To join the club long-term, simply request a visit, followed by an introduction from a board member and, if accepted, an appointment to put together the membership file.
The site brings together enough to keep the whole family occupied: a tennis court, a petanque pitch, a volleyball area and a table tennis table, in addition to the indoor pool. These facilities are open to members and passing guests alike.
Around Laizé, the Voie Bleue follows the Saône and the Voie Verte crosses the Mâconnais and Charolais areas, two cycle routes that invite exploration. The village has several winegrowers, in the heart of a renowned wine region, as well as markets and local producers nearby.
Bakeries, supermarkets, a pharmacy and a medical centre are a few minutes from the campsite, as are several restaurants. The local tourist office also lists the region’s flea markets, for fans of bargain-hunting during a stay in southern Burgundy. Laizé is right next to Mâcon, a market town renowned for its wines, easily reached from the campsite for an outing or extra shopping.
