Le Clos Marot is the naturist campsite of the A.N.C.A. (Association Naturiste de la Côte d’Amour), Route du Marault in Piriac-sur-Mer, in the heart of the Guerande peninsula in Loire-Atlantique. The site, described by its managers as quiet, family-friendly and welcoming, covers a wooded park of 6 hectares, complemented by 3 hectares of forest reserved for walks, where there is no need to get dressed again.
The campsite offers 65 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, spread over two plots: a pool-and-jacuzzi plot with 16 pitches, and a large plot with or without electricity. As a partner of the Fédération Française de Naturisme, Le Clos Marot requires the FFN licence for every stay.
The 2026 season runs from 13 June to 4 September at midday; booking is compulsory, with a 30% deposit, and bookings open on 1 March. Reception is open from 2pm to 7pm, with a phone call in advance recommended after that time, and the pitch must be vacated by midday on the day of departure.
Cyclists are especially welcome: the campsite lends bikes free of charge, handy for reaching the naturist beach of Pen Bron, 7 kilometres away in the neighbouring town of La Turballe.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “As a partner of the Fédération Française de Naturisme, the campsite requires the FFN licence for every stay. It can be issued on site for the naturist sessions organised by the club out of season at the Aquapiriac water park.”
The campsite has its own pool with jacuzzi, on the plot that bears their name, as well as a petanque pitch, table football, a table tennis table and communal barbecues. Parking is only allowed once vehicles are set up on the pitch. Bread and pastries are available to order on certain mornings from 24 June, except on Thursdays.
On the practical side, Le Clos Marot provides a laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and steam iron, as well as free wifi, a television room and a library in the Home and its covered area, where a welcome drink is held every Saturday evening. Jojo’s garden, an organic herb garden, is free for hungry campers to pick from. A freezer is available for ice packs, and trolleys are provided to carry shopping to the pitch.
The shared sanitary block includes toilets, a shower and a dishwashing sink adapted for people with reduced mobility, a hairdryer, as well as a bathtub and a changing table for naturist babies. Recycling is organised on site.
On site, campers enjoy a well-stocked sports and leisure area: petanque, badminton, table football, table tennis and archery, in addition to the pool and jacuzzi. The site’s 3 hectares of forest offer a quiet walking route, which can be enjoyed nude without a detour via the changing rooms.
Out of season, the A.N.C.A. organises naturist sessions at the Aquapiriac water park in Piriac-sur-Mer, on Saturdays, with a 25-metre sports pool at 28 degrees, a fun pool at 30 degrees, a paddling pool, a slide and a wellness area with Scandinavian sauna, hammam and whirlpool bath; an aquagym session is offered there by lifeguards. The compulsory FFN licence can be issued on site.
The Guerande peninsula also invites visitors to venture beyond the campsite: Piriac and its granite lanes lined with flowers, Le Croisic and its Cote Sauvage, Guerande, a town of art and history with intact medieval ramparts and salt marshes, or the Briere Regional Nature Park, France’s second-largest marshland, to explore on foot, by bike, on horseback or by horse-drawn carriage.
Open from 13 June to 4 September 2026 at midday.
