Overview

Le Club du Soleil de l’Essonne occupies a 7-hectare forest in the heart of the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park, in D’Huison-Longueville, 50 km south of Paris, roughly an hour’s drive. The campsite has a two-pool swimming area, a main pool with diving board and a smaller pool for children.

The current pool, nicknamed ‘the jewel of the campsite’, was built by the association’s volunteers between 1968 and 1969. More recently, between 2021 and 2023, members carried out an ultra eco-friendly wastewater treatment system, unique in France: the water is checked two to three times a day and ranks among the purest in the Île-de-France region according to the ARS health authority.

This family naturist campsite is affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme (FFN), and nudity is required within the pool area. Day visitors are welcomed even without a licence, for a slightly higher entry fee; ID is requested at reception.

For members, the site stays open all year round. For visitors, the season starts on 30 May 2026 (weekends in June, every day in July and August, weekends in September and October), with reception open from 10am to noon and 2pm to 7pm.

What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Campsite affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme (FFN). Nudity is required within the pool area. Visitors without an FFN or FNI licence are welcomed for a slightly higher entry fee.”
