La Source Saint Pierre is a family naturist campsite set on the banks of the Hérault, in the town of Aniane, on the Chemin du Moulin de Siau. Run by SARL Duboc, the estate celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2026, marked by three special evenings held between late July and early August. It has 70 pitches in total, split into 52 bare pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, 15 mobile homes for rent, 2 furnished tents and 1 chalet.
Access to the campsite is signposted from the main road and follows a flat, fully paved lane, easy for caravans and motorhomes. The campsite runs directly alongside the river, where you can swim, fish and canoe or paddleboard up to the Pont du Diable gorges.
Naturist in spirit as well as in practice, the establishment remains open to passing, clothed visitors, subject to compliance with the house rules. The atmosphere, praised by many regulars in the campsite’s guest book, is described as friendly and family-oriented, with several generations of loyal holidaymakers returning to the estate over many years.
What the site says about its approach to naturism: “Naturism is practised here in a family setting; passing, clothed visitors are tolerated provided they comply with the campsite's house rules.”
The sanitary facilities, supplied with hot water from the estate’s own spring, include equipment adapted for people with reduced mobility. The campsite also has a washing machine, free Wi-Fi, a self-service library with books in several languages, and an information point about the region. For motorhomes, a cassette-emptying point and a water point for filling the tank are provided.
The bar-restaurant, open at lunch and dinner, serves home-style cooking made from local produce; bread and pastries are delivered fresh every morning. A cooler is available, as well as camping gas for everyday needs. Payment can be made by credit card, holiday vouchers, cheque or bank transfer, and a cleaning fee applies at the end of the stay for pitches with a pet.
For relaxation, the heated 20 x 8m pool includes a jacuzzi, a hammam, water slides and a large paddling pool for the youngest visitors. Charging electric vehicles is not permitted, however, on the campsite’s power sockets.
On site, holidaymakers can enjoy an outdoor fitness area, a pétanque court, table tennis tables, a trampoline and a play area for children. Kayak and canoe rental makes it possible to paddle down the Hérault, and horse riding is available 2km away. Lovely walks and bike rides are also possible directly from the campsite. In the evening, the programme alternates between dance nights, karaoke, children’s shows and exhibitions by local artists, with a few fireworks displays during the summer.
The Hérault gorges, which can be paddled up by canoe or paddleboard as far as the Pont du Diable, are a major draw of the surrounding area. 6km away, the Clamouse cave and the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, presented as the most beautiful Romanesque village in the Languedoc, complete the visit. The Demoiselles caves and the Arcs ravine are 20km away, Mont Baudile 15km away, and the Mediterranean coast half an hour’s drive away. Further afield, the Millau viaduct and the Cirque de Navacelles round out the ideas for outings.
