Everything about the campsites for naturists in Grand Est

Grand Est has three naturist campsites, one per department, from Champagne to Alsace via Lorraine: all three are family and club sites affiliated with the Fédération française de naturisme, with very good guest reviews.

In the Aube, on the banks of the Seine

Camping naturiste Le Champ du Moulin, run by the Club du Soleil de Troyes, in Verrières, has private access to the Seine on 9 wooded hectares, with a pond and pool area. With an average rating of 4.5 out of 5, this family campsite, open to families with children, offers an on-site bar and grocery shop, an FFN or INF licence that can be taken out on site, and facilities for people with reduced mobility.

In the Bas-Rhin, a club campsite in Alsace

CGA Wasselonne, in Alsace, affiliated with the FFN and with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5, covers 5 hectares of meadow and orchard, with a 7 x 15 metre pool and a paddling pool suited to children. This family campsite welcomes guests from mid-June to the end of August, with a closed, shaded and free car park.

In the Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the Parc naturel régional de Lorraine

Le Cardinal, in Domèvre-en-Haye, this family naturist estate, affiliated with the FFN since 1965, covers six hectares of wooded clearings in the heart of the Parc naturel régional de Lorraine. It has a secure outdoor pool, free wifi across the whole site and pitches connected to 10-amp electricity.

Three club-based, small-scale structures

The three campsites of Grand Est share one thing in common: they are family and club-based structures, affiliated with the FFN, far from the large naturist villages of the coast. Facilities range from the pond and pool area at Verrières, to the paddling pool at Wasselonne, via the electrified pitches at Le Cardinal. None of the three offers rental accommodation: the offering remains focused on bare pitches, for a tent, caravan or motorhome, for simple, club-based holidays.

Choosing your naturist destination in Grand Est

For a stay by the river with on-site shops, the Aube and Le Champ du Moulin, near Troyes, offer the most services and activities. For an Alsatian setting between meadow and orchard, the Bas-Rhin relies on CGA Wasselonne. For a wooded stay in the heart of a regional nature park, the Meurthe-et-Moselle offers Le Cardinal, with its electrified pitches. The three naturist campsites of Grand Est remain small-scale, club-based structures, affiliated with the Fédération française de naturisme: check opening dates before booking.

What to see and do in Grand Est

A few kilometres from Verrières, Troyes unfolds its listed historic centre, its half-timbered houses and its AOC champagne, amid canals and medieval lanes. The Seine, which borders the campsite, is well suited to fishing and walking, as are the surrounding forests of the Parc naturel régional de la Forêt d’Orient.

Near Wasselonne, the Alsace wine route crosses flower-decked villages such as Obernai or Molsheim, and Strasbourg, with its cathedral and its UNESCO-listed historic centre, is less than an hour away. In the Meurthe-et-Moselle, the Parc naturel régional de Lorraine, which surrounds Le Cardinal, offers forests and ponds, while Nancy and its Place Stanislas, also UNESCO-listed, round out the discovery of the region.

our method

How we select the campsites in this localisation

1

A verified criterion, not a promise

Every for naturists campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.

2

Reputation, backed by reviews

We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.

3

Direct booking, transparent pricing

You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
